Acceptable Use Policy
Not only a list of prohibitions — most of the rules here exist to protect your own number.
Last updated:
This document forms part of the Terms of Service and applies to everything sent from your workspace.
One thing to keep in mind: most of the penalties here do not come from us. Meta monitors your number’s quality and Meta bans it — and when that happens we **cannot** lift the ban or intervene.
Who you are contracting with
- Legal name
- Fasla Cloud
1. Consent before any message
Do not message any number that has not agreed to hear from you. Consent must be explicit and documented — not inferred from a purchase two years ago.
- No purchased lists and no numbers scraped from public sources.
- No importing numbers from WhatsApp groups, or from anywhere consent was not actually given.
- Provide a clear way to stop receiving messages, and honour it immediately when someone asks.
Block reports from recipients are the first signal Meta measures your number's quality by. A handful is enough to cut your daily limit; more than that stops the number.
2. Prohibited content
Do not use the platform for any of the following:
- Anything unlawful under Egyptian law or the law of the recipient’s country.
- Fraud, phishing, or impersonating another business or person.
- Selling goods or services prohibited by the WhatsApp Commerce Policy — weapons, drugs, tobacco, restricted medical supplements, cryptocurrency and gambling among them.
- Content inciting hatred or violence, sexual content, or anything targeting children.
- Distributing malware or malicious links.
- Harassing, threatening, or repeatedly messaging someone who asked you to stop.
3. Using the platform itself
- Do not attempt to reach another workspace’s data or to escalate your permissions.
- Do not run penetration tests or security scans against the platform without prior written permission from us.
- Do not resell access or share your account with another business — team members have their own invitation system for that.
- Do not use the API in ways that harm stability, including exceeding rate limits or trying to work around them.
- Do not automate account creation or take the free trial more than once for the same business.
4. Protecting your number’s quality
Less obligations than the difference between a number that reaches 100,000 messages a day and one banned in its first week:
- Start small and grow gradually. A first campaign to 10,000 numbers from a fresh number is close to suicide.
- Send at reasonable hours. A marketing message at 3 AM becomes a block report.
- Keep templates clear and useful. The more useful the message reads, the fewer reports it draws.
- Watch your read rate. If it drops suddenly, stop and find out why before continuing.
5. What happens if this is breached
Depending on severity: we warn you, disable a specific feature, or suspend the account. For serious or repeated breaches we terminate the service.
Suspension for a breach does **not** entitle you to a refund, per the refund policy in the Terms of Service.
6. Reporting abuse
If you received an abusive message from a number using our platform, tell us and we will act. Include the sending number and the time of the message where you can.
